Objectives：There are two goals of thedocumentary workshop. The first is for students and teachers to work in groups.They will follow teaching plan to carry out a training project. This approachis educational as well, and the final goal is to lead the students to make theirown documentary.
Documentary Workshop is foundational course to improvethe students' abilities of documentary film creation.
Contents🪨：Documentary Workshop part 1 （required） supports the Documentary Directorcourse, and includes all kinds of training courses. According to the two broadcategories of natural and humanities documentary, in Documentary Workshop part2 （elective）, students need toproduce a science documentary, ecological-environmental documentary and featurefilm, newsreel, traditional documentary, columns documentary and other genres.
In each type of documentary filmmaking, both teachersand students will begin from subject and planning to filming interviews,live-recording, script writing and postproduction.

Objectives🧜♂️：Thecourse helps students to understand and master the documentary music and soundart creation rules, be able to correctly grasp the relationship between “subject & object” and the “audience”, hold a basic understanding ofsound art creation methods, so that they can improve the imagination andexpressiveness of documentary sound art.
Contents🧑🏼：Theresearch object of this course is the music and sound of documentary. Itintroduces the function and importance of all audio elements of documentary： language, music and sound, and principles and methods ofreproducibility and subjective expressivity of sound. This course aims tocultivate students' creative thinking, help students to understand the naturesand art charm of music and sound in TV Documentary.

Contents🤪：In the form of BBS speech, the speakers are from all over thecountry （mainly from the regions of Yangtze River）, they are famous scholar in the field of humanities and socialsciences. Their topic scope is not limited to literature, art, journalism,documentary and other professional fields （that is,each semester ,the principle as above isno more than 50%）, but as far as possible to cover theentire humanities and social sciences, and the topic should be frontier topic,and familiar to the speakers. The content is both solid and easy to understand.
