On June 8, the overseas lecture--“UNICITRAL Arbitration & Mediation Framework” was held online.The lecture were delivered by Athita Komindr, Director of the Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law(UNCITRAL), Hangyeol Kim and Tracy Choi, legal expert. Liu Ling, Coordinator of Overseas Program for Chinese Students,presided over the lecture. The students of SHUPL actively participated in the lecture.

Before the lecture, Zhang Zhengyi, Deputy Head of Department of International Cooperation and Exchange,delivered an opening speech and extended warm welcome to director Komindr, legal expert Ms.Choi, Ms.Kim.

 Athita Komindr presented the work of framework of UNCITAL,and introduced  UNCITRAL ’s institutional setup, operational procedures, future development goals and the application of important treaties under the framework of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in China.

Hangyeol Kim introduced the application and recent development of important international legal norms and documents under the framework of UNCITRAL arbitration rules.

Tracy Choi introduced the mediation rules under the framework of UNCITRAL .
